Want to know a way for you to quit your full-time job and grow your online business in the span of a year? Well, in this article we give you a 7 Step Plan For Generating Profits Online. Follow this plan and you’ll give yourself a great chance of pursuing your dream full-time.
Although this is not one of the steps, you should build an email list of at least 150 subscribers in your niche. This can be done multiple ways, but accomplishing this makes the below steps much easier.
1. Plan out your next 12 months
Come up with an overall plan for the next 12 months. What’s your income goal? How will you reach that income goal? Get specific as possible. This step should take no longer than 30 minutes.
2. Create a product promotion for every major holiday
Create a promotion for every major holiday in the next 12 months. An example could be Thanksgiving, and you could have a 50% off discount of one of the products you sell. The discount only applies around Thanksgiving.
3. Ensure there is at least 1 promotion in every month
Create at least 1 promotion for every single month over the next 12 months. This ensures that you will always be able to generate profits on a monthly basis. Some months may have more than 1 holiday, create 2 separate promotions for them.
4. Include affiliate products in some of the promotions
For the promotions, they don’t all have to be your products. You can use affiliate products for some of the promotions as well. Also, a good rule to follow is after you promote your product, wait 14 days and promote an affiliate product.
5. Focus on traffic generation activities
In between promotions, you want to be focused on increasing the amount of traffic to your landing pages. Your objective should be to exponentially grow your email list. The bigger your email list, the more people will see your promotions which equals more money.
One of my favorite ways to grow my email list is through FB Ads. We create a landing page, a lead magnet, and a FB Ad. The sequence looks something like this: FB Ad –> Landing Page –> Opt-in –> Deliver Lead Magnet.

6. Promote your updated main product (When your list doubles)
Eventually, your list is going to double. Every time your list doubles, promote your main product. Make sure you are updating your main product with updated information and more bonuses. Follow this promotion with an affiliate promotion 14 days later.
7. List sources of traffic
Create a list of all of the traffic sources you can benefit from. Remember, you can also take advantage of multiple affiliate products as well as selling your own product through affiliates.
Bonus: 8. Rinse and Repeat
Continue to follow this cycle of Generating Traffic –> Promoting Products –> Selling Affiliate Products or Selling Through Affiliates. In a span of a year, you can be working for yourself full-time if you put this plan into action.
